And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
