Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 As are of their prayer careless. 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
