Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 excusing or warning, 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 The mountains reduced to dust and blown away, 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 for an appointed time? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
