And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
