Hizb 46

And Jonah too was one of the Messengers. 139 When he left towards the laden ship. 140 cast lots, and was among the losers. 141 Then a fish swallowed him, and he was blameworthy. 142 and had he not been among those who exalt (Allah), 143 He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ but We cast him upon the wilderness, and he was sick, 145 And We caused to grow, over him, a spreading plant of the gourd kind. 146 Then We sent him to a hundred thousand or more, 147 And they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time. 148 So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons? 149 Did We create the angels as females the while they witnessed?” 150 Oh, verily, it is out of their own [inclination to] falsehood that some people assert, 151 'God has begotten?' They are truly liars. 152 Did He choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What ails you then, how you judge? 154 Will you not, then, bethink yourselves? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Then bring your book, if ye say sooth. 157 They have set up a kinship between Him and the jinn; and the jinn know that they shall be arraigned. 158 Purity is to Allah from the matters they fabricate. 159 all of them except the chosen servants of Allah. 160 Therefore you and all what you worship. (The disbelievers and their deities.) 161 can cause anyone to fall prey to your temptation 162 Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell! 163 And there is none of us but has an assigned place, 164 “And indeed we, with our wings spread, await the command.” 165 “And indeed we are those who say His purity.” 166 And surely they used to say: 167 Had we a reminder from those of yore, 168 then were we God's sincere servants.' 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 Already has Our Word been passed before (this) to our Servants sent (by Us), 171 That they verily would be helped, 172 And that Our host, they verily would be the victors. 173 So, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time. 174 And wait; they will come to know soon. 175 Do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 When it descends into their courtyard, it will be terrible for those who have already been warned. 177 So turn thou from them for a while, 178 And see thou: they themselves shall presently see. 179 Your Lord, the Lord of Honor, is too exalted to be considered as they describe Him. 180 So peace be on the messengers, 181 And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds. 182
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
