Do you not realize that We have sent Satan to incite the unbelievers to sin. 83 Therefore be not in haste against them, We only number out to them a number (of days). 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 None will have power to intercede for them except one who obtains a promise from Ar-Rahman. 87 They have said that the Beneficent God has given birth to a son. 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and earth except he comes to the Merciful as a worshiper. 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – the Most Gracious will appoint love for them. (In the hearts of other believers.) 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How many generations living before them did We destroy? Do you find anyone of them around or do you even hear any word from them? 98
