And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Surely We have created everything in measure. 49 And Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye. 50 We destroyed many people like you (disbelievers) but is there anyone who would take heed (of Our warning)? 51 Whatever they have done has been recorded in the Books (records of the deeds). 52 Every small or great deed is written down. 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
