The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
