Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the white forenoon 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
