۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
