Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ No! I swear by the Day of Resurrection, 1 But nay! I call to witness the accusing voice of man's own conscience! 2 Does man (a disbeliever) think that We shall not assemble his bones? 3 Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers. 4 None the less man chooses to deny what lies ahead of him, 5 'When will the Day of Resurrection be' he asks, 6 At length, when the sight is dazed, 7 And the moon will be eclipsed, 8 And the sun and the moon will be united. 9 on that Day man will ask, "Where can I escape?" 10 By no means! NO refuge! 11 unto thy Lord that Day is the recourse. 12 On that Day man will be informed of what he sent forward (of his evil or good deeds), and what he left behind (of his good or evil traditions). 13 nay, man shall be a clear proof against himself, 14 Whatever the excuses he may offer. 15 Move not your tongue concerning (the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) to make haste therewith. 16 Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation. 17 But when We have promulgated it, follow thou its recital (as promulgated): 18 Then indeed, to explain its details to you is upon Us. 19 Truly, you love immediate gain 20 And neglect the hereafter. 21 On that Day there shall be radiant faces, 22 Looking toward their Lord. 23 Others will be despondent, 24 Fearing that a great disaster is going to befall them. 25 No indeed; when it reaches the clavicles 26 And it is said: Who will be a magician? 27 And he knoweth that it is the parting; 28 when his legs are brought together [when affliction is combined with affliction]; 29 On that day, the herding will be only towards your Lord. 30
