It was He who produced for you hearing, eyes, and hearts, yet little is that you thank. 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 It is He who gives life, and makes to die, and to Him belongs the alternation of night and day; what, will you not understand? 80 Aye! they say the like of that which said the ancients. 81 They say: "When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be raised to life again? 82 Indeed, this [very thing] we have been promised - we and our forefathers - long ago! This is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 83 Say: "If you have knowledge, 'to whom belongs the earth' and, 'whoever is in it? '" 84 They will say, "To Allah." Say, "Then will you not remember?" 85 Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? 86 They will surely say: God. Say thou: will ye not then fear? 87 Ask them: "Say, if you indeed know, to whom belongs the dominion over all things; (Who is it) that grants asylum, but against Whom no asylum is available?" 88 They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?" 89 Nay! We have brought to them the truth, and most surely they are liars. 90 God has not begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Had this been so, each god would have taken away what he had created with him, and some would have risen over the others. God is much too glorious for what they attribute (to Him)! 91 [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]. 92
