And indeed We have created man and We know what his soul instils in him; and We are nearer to him than the hearts artery. 16 Moreover, there are two scribes, one each sitting on the right and the left, recording everything. 17 He utters not a word but there is by him a watcher at hand. 18 And death's agony comes in truth; that is what thou wast shunning! 19 The trumpet will certainly be sounded. This will be the day (about which you) were threatened. 20 And every soul came, along with a herder and a witness. 21 [It will be said], "You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp." 22 His companion said: “Here is he who was in my charge.” 23 It will be said to the angels, “Both of you fling every excessive ungrateful, stubborn person into hell.” 24 Hinderer of good, trespasser, doubter 25 who has set up with Allah another god. Indeed, you two, cast him into the terrible punishment' 26 ۞ His satanic companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not mislead him, but he himself went astray". 27 [Allah] will say, "Do not dispute before Me, while I had already presented to you the warning. 28 The Word will not be changed in My presence, nor am I an oppressor at all unto My bondmen. 29
