The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 when the earth will suddenly shake with a terrible shaking, 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And ye shall be sorted out into three classes. 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 And those on the left how (wretched) are those on the left! 9 The third to the fore shall be the foremost. 10 It is they who are the close ones. 11 In gardens of delight; 12 (a throng of the ancients 13 And a few from the latter. 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 Immortal youths will serve them 17 With goblets, (shining) beakers, and cups (filled) out of clear-flowing fountains: 18 Unheady, uninebriating; 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 Like unto preserved pearls. 23 [And this will be] a reward for what they did [in life]. 24 They will hear no nonsense there or talk of sin, 25 Only the saying, "Peace! Peace". 26 As for the people of the right hand, how happy they will be! 27 [They, too, will find themselves] amidst fruit laden lote-trees, 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 and shade extended, 30 Gushing water, 31 and abundant fruits, 32 unfailing, unforbidden, 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 Lo! We have created them a (new) creation 35 and made them virgins, 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
