He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ HE FROWNED AND turned away, 1 when the blind man approached him, 2 But what would make you perceive, [O Muhammad], that perhaps he might be purified 3 Or be reminded and the remembrance would benefit him? 4 As for him who was indifferent, 5 To him you give attention. 6 And you have nothing to lose if he does not become pure. 7 As for the one who comes to you earnestly (striving for guidance). 8 and fearfully, 9 of him you were unmindful. 10 Not this way this is the advice. 11 Therefore let whoso will, keep it in remembrance. 12 It is set down on honoured pages, 13 uplifted, purified, 14 In the hands of scribes (angels). 15 Noble and righteous. 16 May man be slain how ungrateful he is! 17 From what has God created him? 18 Out of a drop of sperm He creates him, and thereupon determines his nature, 19 Then He eased the way for him; 20 Then He causes him to die, then assigns to him a grave, 21 Then He will raise him up again when He please. 22 Not one he has not yet completed what he was commanded. 23 Then let man look to his food, 24 That We watered it in abundance. 25 and split the earth, splitting, 26 And cause the grain to grow therein 27 grapes, and fresh fodder, 28 And olive and palm trees 29 And enclosed Gardens, dense with lofty trees, 30 And fruits and grass, 31 Provision for you and your cattle. 32 But when the deafening cry shall be sounded 33 On the day when a man fleeth from his brother 34 And from his mother and father, 35 wife and sons, 36 on that Day every man among them will have enough concern of his own -- 37 [Some] faces, that Day, will be bright - 38 Laughing, rejoicing. 39 but others will be gloomy 40 Covered with the blackness (of shame): 41 They will be the unbelievers, transgressors. 42
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color. Pages diversely generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice. The Quran is the conclusive Final Testament of the One and Only God for all people of all colors and shapes.
