But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human being's days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason? 68 AND [thus it is:] We have not imparted to this [Prophet the gift of] poetry, nor would [poetry] have suited this [message]: it is but a reminder and a [divine] discourse, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth, 69 That it may warn him who would have life, and (that) the word may prove true against the unbelievers. 70 Are they, then, not aware that it is for them that We have created, among all the things which Our hands have wrought, the domestic animals of which they are [now] masters? 71 We have subjected these to them, so that some may be used for riding and some for food, 72 From cattle they get milk and other benefits. Will they not then give thanks? 73 And they have appointed Gods other than Allah, that perhaps they may be helped! 74 They cannot help them, for them (the so called) army are brought (with them to Hell). 75 Therefore let not their speech grieve you; surely We know what they do in secret and what they do openly. 76 Beholdest not man that We have created him from a sperm? Yet lo! he is a manifest disputer? 77 And he propoundeth for us a similitude, and forgetteth his creation; he saith: who shall quicken the bones when they are decayed? 78 (Muhammad), tell him, "He who gave them life in the first place will bring them back to life again. He has the best knowledge of all creatures. 79 Who giveth you out of the green tree fire, and lo! ye kindle therewith. 80 Is He who created the heavens and the earth unable to create their like? Yes, indeed, He is the Creator, the Knower. 81 Whenever He wills a thing, He just commands it “Be” and it is. 82 So glory be to Him, in whose hand is the dominion of everything, and unto whom you shall be returned. 83
