The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
