Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 My Lord! then set me not among the wrongdoing folk. 94 Indeed, We are able to show you that which We promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 Say, "Lord, I seek your protection against the strong temptations of the devils. 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 lt ceaseth not until when death cometh to one of them, and he saith: my Lord! send me back. 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other. 101 Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, - these, they are the successful. 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 'What, were My signs not recited to you, and you cried them lies?' 105 They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 "A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 They will be asked: "How long did you live on the earth in terms of years?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 He (Allah) will say: "You stayed not but a little, if you had only known! 114 Deem ye that We have created you in vain and that unto Us ye are not to be returned? 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 He, who invokes another deity along with God, a deity of whose divinity he has no proof, will be brought to account by his Lord. Certainly, those who deny the truth shall never prosper. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
