Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
