We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allah). 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 Do not choose other gods besides Him. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you". 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), – so there is no blame upon you. 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
