Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Nay; I swear by the moon, 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 until death approached us". 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
