Hizb 28
< random >
۞ And Allah has said: Take not two gods, He is only one Allah; so of Me alone should you be afraid. 51 To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and on earth, and to Him is duty due always: then will ye fear other than Allah? 52 Whatever blessing you have is from God, and to Him you turn for help when distress befalls you, 53 Then when He removes the adversity from you, at once a party of you associates others with their Lord 54 that they may show unthankfulness for that We have given them. So take your joy; certainly you will soon know! 55 They even appoint a share of what We have provided for them [to false gods] they know nothing of. You shall surely be questioned about the lies you have been fabricating. 56 They attribute daughters to God, the glorious, but for themselves whatsoever they please. 57 And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. 58 He hideth himself from the folk because of the evil of that whereof he hath had tidings, (asking himself): Shall he keep it in contempt, or bury it beneath the dust. Verily evil is their judgment. 59 Those who do not believe in the Everlasting Life, theirs is the evil likeness; and for Allah is the highest likeness. He is the Mighty, the Wise. 60

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
