The Companions of the Wood rejected the messengers. 176 What time Shu'aib said unto them: fear ye not? 177 I am a trustworthy Messengers. 178 So fear God and follow me. 179 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage is only with the Lord of the Worlds. 180 ۞ "[Always] give full measure, and be not among those who [unjustly] cause loss [to others]; 181 "And weigh with scales true and upright. 182 “And do not give the people their goods diminished, and do not roam the earth causing turmoil.” 183 And keep your duty unto Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old. 184 They said: "Thou art only one of those bewitched! 185 you are only a mortal like us. Indeed we believe that you are an utter liar. 186 Then drop down on us lumps from heaven, if thou art one of the truthful.' 187 He said: "My Lord is the Best Knower of what you do." 188 But they denied him, so there came on them the retribution of the day of gloom. Lo! it was the retribution of an awful day. 189 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 190 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 191
