Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness] 1 when the stars shall scatter away, 2 And when the mountains are removed 3 And when the she-camels big with young shall be abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts are herded together, 5 when the seas are set boiling, 6 And when souls are united, 7 And the little girl buried alive is asked 8 For what sin she was killed, 9 When the scrolls are laid open; 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped, 11 And when the Scorch shall be made to blaze, 12 And when Paradise is brought near. 13 then every soul will discover the consequence of its deeds. 14 No indeed; I swear by the alternating stars 15 The planets withdrawing into themselves, 16 by the night when it approaches 17 The rising dawn, 18 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger 19 who is honored in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 [the word] of one to be heeded, and worthy of trust! 21 And your companion is not [at all] mad. 22 And indeed he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) saw him [Jibrael (Gabriel)] in the clear horizon (towards the east). 23 And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. 24 And it (the Quran) is not the word of the outcast Shaitan (Satan). 25 Whither, then, will you go? 26 It is naught but a reminder for the nations, 27 For whoever wills among you to take a right course. 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
