"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 No weariness will come upon them, nor will they be sent away from there. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 and that My punishment is a painful punishment. 50 AND TELL THEM [once again] about Abraham's guests 51 when they entered unto him, saying, 'Peace!' He said, 'Behold, we are afraid of you.' 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 He said: Bring ye me good tidings (of a son) when old age hath overtaken me? Of what then can ye bring good tidings? 54 They (the angels) said: "We give you glad tidings in truth. So be not of the despairing ones." 55 He replied: 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, except those that are astray? 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They said, “We have been sent towards a guilty nation.” 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
