The endeavors of he who believes and does good works shall not go unthanked. We write it down for him. 94 And a ban is laid on every town (population) which We have destroyed that they shall not return (to this world again, nor repent to Us). 95 until Gog and Magog are let loose to rush down from the hills. 96 and the time for the fulfilment of the true promise of Allah draws near, whereupon the eyes of those who disbelieved will stare in fear, and they will say: "Woe to us, we were indeed heedless of this; nay, we were wrongdoers." 97 [Then they will be told:] "Verily, you and all that you [were wont to] worship instead of God are but the fuel of hell: that is what you are destined for. 98 Had these been gods, they would not have come to it and all shall abide therein. 99 There they shall groan with anguish and the din and noise in Hell will not let them hear anything. 100 Indeed, those for whom the best [reward] has preceded from Us - they are from it far removed. 101 no sound thereof will they hear; and they will abide in all that their souls have ever desired. 102 They will have safety from the mighty terror, and angels will receive them, (saying:) "This is your day which had been promised you." 103 And (remember) the Day when We shall roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books, as We began the first creation, We shall repeat it, (it is) a promise binding upon Us. Truly, We shall do it. 104 And indeed We wrote, after the reminder in the Zaboor that, “My virtuous bondmen will inherit the earth.” 105 Verily in this is a preaching for a people who are worshippers. 106 And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds. 107 Say thou: this only hath been revealed unto me, that your god is only One God. submit ye then?! 108 But if they (disbelievers, idolaters, Jews, Christians, polytheists, etc.) turn away (from Islamic Monotheism) say (to them O Muhammad SAW): "I give you a notice (of war as) to be known to us all alike. And I know not whether that which you are promised (i.e. the torment or the Day of Resurrection) is near or far." 109 Lo! He knoweth that which is said openly, and that which ye conceal. 110 But [as for me,] I do not know whether, perchance, this [delay in God's judgment] is but a trial for you, and a [merciful] respite for a while." 111 He said: O my Lord! judge Thou with truth; and our Lord is the Beneficent Allah, Whose help is sought against what you ascribe (to Him). 112
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Prophets (Al-Anbyaa'). Sent down in Mecca after Abraham (Ibrahim) before The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
