▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
