The human says: 'What, when I am dead, shall I be raised to life?' 66 Remembereth not man that We created him afore when he was not aught? 67 So by your Lord! We will most certainly gather them together and the Shaitans, then shall We certainly cause them to be present round hell on their knees. 68 We shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the Most Gracious. 69 We alone know who deserves most to be burned therein. 70 and there is not one of you but shall pass through it: a decree from your Lord which must be fulfilled. 71 But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees. 72 When Our lucid revelations are read out to them, the infidels say to those who believe: "Which of the two groups is better in standing, and whose company is more excellent?" 73 How many a generation have We destroyed before them, who were more imposing in respect of gear and outward seeming! 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 And Allah increases in guidance those who go aright; and ever-abiding good works are with your Lord best in recompense and best in yielding fruit. 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise? 78 By no means! We write down what he says, and We will lengthen to him the length of the chastisement 79 And We will inherit of him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 They have taken other gods instead of Allah that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 Never; soon they will deny ever worshipping them, and will turn into their opponents. 82
