And assuredly the dwellers of Hijr belied the sent ones. 80 for We did vouchsafe them Our messages, but they obstinately turned their backs upon them 81 Out of the mountains did they hew (their) edifices, (feeling themselves) secure. 82 But they were seized by the mighty blast towards the morning; 83 that they earned did not avail them. 84 We have created the heavens and the earth and all that is between the two in accordance with the requirements of truth and wisdom. The Hour is surely coming. So overlook [their faults] with gracious forgiveness. 85 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-creator, the All-knowing. 86 (Muhammad), We have given you the seven most repeated (verses) and the great Quran. 87 Do not direct your eyes towards the things We have given to some of their couples to enjoy, and do not at all grieve because of them, and take the Muslims within the folds of your mercy. 88 And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" - 89 As We have sent down on the dividers, (Quraish pagans or Jews and Christians). 90 who have broken the Koran into parts, 91 So, by your Lord (O Muhammad SAW), We shall certainly call all of them to account. 92 About all what they used to do. 93 Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists. 94 We suffice you against those who mock, 95 Who place other gods besides God. They will come to know soon. 96 And indeed We know that you are disheartened by their speech. 97 Therefore celebrate the praise of your Lord, and be of those who make obeisance. 98 And serve thy Lord until there come unto thee the Hour that is Certain. 99
