۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
