The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the forthcoming event does occur. 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 Abasing (one party), exalting (the other), 3 When the earth is shaken up convulsively, 4 And the mountains will be powdered to dust. 5 Turned to dust, floating in the air, 6 [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds. 7 Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 those are they brought near (to their Lord) 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam). 13 And a few of later ages, 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 reclining upon them, facing one another [in love]. 16 (and there) shall wait on them immortal youths 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 along with fruits of their choice; 20 And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire. 21 and wide-eyed houris 22 like the pearls in their shells: 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 and serried acacias, 29 And extended shade, 30 and flowing water, 31 And plenty of fruits. 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 Lo! We have created them a (new) creation 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 Lovers, friends, 37 for the people of the right hand 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
