To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful. 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are in error and insanity! 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 We have indeed created all things by a proper measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember? 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
