The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
