Then whosoever does righteous works, while believing, his striving will not go unappreciated. We record them all for him. 94 Hence, it has been unfailingly true of any community whom We have ever destroyed that they [were people who] would never turn back [from their sinful ways] 95 until Gog and Magog are let loose, and begin swooping from every mound, 96 And the True Promise draweth nigh; then behold them, staring wide (in terror), the eyes of those who disbelieve! (They say): Alas for us! We (lived) in forgetfulness of this. Ah, but we were wrong-doers! 97 Surely you and what you worship besides Allah are the firewood of hell; to it you shall come. 98 “Had these been Gods they would not go into hell; and they have to remain in it.” 99 There, sobbing will be their lot, nor will they there hear (aught else). 100 But as for those unto whom already the reward most fair has gone forth from Us, 101 they will not hear the slightest sound of it, and they shall forever abide in a state of bliss, among everything their souls longed for. 102 the greatest terror shall not grieve them, and the angels shall receive them: 'This is your day that you were promised.' 103 The Day whereon We shall roll up the heaven like as the rolling up of a scroll for books. Even as We began the first creation, We shall restore it: a promise binding upon Us; verily We have been the Doers. 104 For We have written in the Psalms, after the Remembrance, 'The earth shall be the inheritance of My righteous servants.' 105 Lo! there is a plain statement for folk who are devout. 106 And We have not sent you but as a mercy to the worlds. 107 Say, "It is only revealed to me that your god is but one God; so will you be Muslims [in submission to Him]?" 108 If they turn away, tell them: "I have warned you all alike. I do not know if what has been promised you is near or far away. 109 God surely knows what you say openly and also knows what you conceal. 110 I think that this [reprieve] is possibly a trial for you, an opportunity to enjoy yourselves until an appointed time." 111 [The Prophet] has said, "My Lord, judge [between us] in truth. And our Lord is the Most Merciful, the one whose help is sought against that which you describe." 112
