۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 and they have enraged us, 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
