Exalted is He who put constellations in the heavens, a radiant lamp and an illuminating moon -- 61 And He it is Who made the night and the day to follow each other for him who desires to be mindful or desires to be thankful. 62 The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth modestly, and when the foolish ones address them answer: Peace; 63 And who spend the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing, 64 And these who say: our Lord! avert from us the torment of Hell; verily the torment thereof is perishment. 65 Surely it is an evil abode and (evil) place to stay. 66 And those who, when spending, neither exceed the limits nor act miserly, and stay in moderation between the two. 67 And those who do not worship any other deity along with Allah, and do not unjustly kill any living thing which Allah has forbidden, nor commit adultery; and whoever does this will receive punishment. 68 Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated - 69 Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful, 70 And whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds, then verily, he repents towards Allah with true repentance. 71 those who do not testify falsely and when they come across something impious, pass it by nobly, 72 and who, whenever they are reminded of their Sustainer's messages, do not throw themselves upon them [as if] deaf and blind; 73 And those who pray, "Our Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous." 74 They will be rewarded for their perseverance with lofty mansions in empyrean where they will be received with greetings of peace and salutations, 75 There they shall abide forever: a blessed dwelling and a blessed resting place. 76 Say: My Lord would not care for you were it not for your prayer; but you have indeed rejected (the truth), so that which shall cleave shall come. 77
