Hizb 46

So also was Jonah among those sent (by Us). 139 He fled to the overloaded ship. 140 and cast lots, and was of the rebutted, 141 The fish swallowed him up and he deserved (all this). 142 And were he not one of those who praise. 143 he would have lingered in its belly till the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a bare desert whilst he was sick. 145 We made a plant of gourd grow up for him. 146 Then We sent him unto a hundred thousand, or more, 147 and they believed, and We gave them enjoyment for awhile. 148 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Has thy Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 Or created We the angels females while they were present? 150 Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, 151 "Allah has begotten off spring or children (i.e. angels are the daughters of Allah)?" And, verily, they are liars! 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 Will you not then reflect? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Then bring your scripture, if what you say is true. 157 They have said that there is a relationship between Him and the jinn. The jinn certainly know that they will all be brought to suffer torment. 158 (They say): “Exalted be Allah above what they attribute to Him, 159 except the servants of God, sincere and devoted. 160 But as for you, and that you serve, 161 Not against Him can you cause (any) to fall into trial, 162 unless it be such as rushes towards the blazing fire [of his own accord]! 163 There is not one of us but hath his known position. 164 And most surely we are they who draw themselves out in ranks, 165 And we are those who sing hallelujas to Him." 166 And surely they used to say: 167 “If only we had the Reminder which had been granted to the people of yore 168 we would certainly be true servants of God." 169 But when it came to them, they rejected it. They shall soon come to know (the end of such an attitude). 170 Our word had already been given before to Our votaries, the apostles, -- 171 That they would be helped, 172 and Our armies shall be the victors. 173 So turn thou from them for a while, 174 And watch them (how they fare), and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! 175 Do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned. 177 And leave them for a time. 178 and see; soon they shall see! 179 LIMITLESS in His glory is thy Sustainer, the Lord of almightiness, [exalted] above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 180 So peace be on the messengers, 181 And all praise to God, the Lord of all the worlds. 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
