Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 It is he who pusheth away the orphan, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 and refuse charity. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
