Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
