It is He, Who has created for you (the sense of) hearing (ears), sight (eyes), and hearts (understanding). Little thanks you give. 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and for Him are the alternations of night and day; so do you not have sense? 80 Nay, they say the like of what the ancients said: 81 They say, "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 “Indeed this promise was given to us and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of earlier people.” 83 Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?" 84 [And they will reply: "Unto God." Say: "Will you not, then, bethink yourselves [of Him]?" 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Great Throne' 86 They will surely say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not, then, fear (Allah)?" 87 Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 12, Page 145] 88 They will say: "God's." Say: "Then why are you so deluded?" 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 Allah hath not betaken to Himself any son, and there is not along Him any god; else each god would have gone off with that which he had created, and one of them would have exalted himself above the others. Hallowed be Allah above that which they ascribe! 91 He has the knowledge of all seen and unseen things. He is too exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 92
