Allah forgiveth not (The sin of) joining other gods with Him; but He forgiveth whom He pleaseth other sins than this: one who joins other gods with Allah, Hath strayed far, far away (from the right). 116 They invoke in His stead only females; they pray to none else than Satan, a rebel 117 Whom Allah cursed, and he said: Surely I will take of Thy bondmen an appointed portion, 118 And surely I will lead them astray, and surely I will arouse desires in them, and surely I will command them and they will cut the cattle' ears, and surely I will command them and they will change Allah's creation. Whoso chooseth Satan for a patron instead of Allah is verily a loser and his loss is manifest. 119 The devil promises them and arouses desires in them; and the devil does not give them promises except of deceit. 120 These are they whose abode is hell, and they shall not find any refuge from it. 121 But those who believe and do good, We shall cause them to enter the Gardens beneath which rivers flow. Here they will abide for ever. This is Allah's promise in truth and whose word is truer than Allah's? 122 It is not your desires, nor the desires of the People of the Book, that shall prevail. Anyone who commits evil will be rewarded accordingly. He will not find any protector or patron for himself besides God. 123 And whoso doeth good works, whether of male or female, and he (or she) is a believer, such will enter paradise and they will not be wronged the dint in a date-stone. 124 And who could be of better faith than he who surrenders his whole being unto God and is a doer of good withal, and follows the creed of Abraham, who turned away from all that is false - seeing that God exalted Abraham with His love? 125 And Allah's is whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth; and of everything Allah is ever an Encompasser. 126
