Lo! the tree of Zaqqum, 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 'Take him, and thrust him into the midst of Hell, 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 "Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour! 49 This is that concerning which you were doubting.' 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 In the midst of gardens and of springs, 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 They shall call therein for every fruit in security; 55 Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- 56 an act of thy Sustainer's favour: and that, that will be the triumph supreme! 57 (O Prophet), We have made this Book easy in your tongue so that they may take heed. 58 So wait thou [for what the future will bring]: behold, they, too, are waiting. 59
