And as for those who emigrated for the Cause of Allah, after suffering oppression, We will certainly give them goodly residence in this world, but indeed the reward of the Hereafter will be greater, if they but knew! 41 such are those who are patient, and put their trust in their Lord. 42 And We sent not before you except men to whom We revealed [Our message]. So ask the people of the message if you do not know. 43 We have revealed the Quran to you so that you could tell the people what has been revealed to them and so that perhaps they will think. 44 Can, then, they who devise evil schemes ever feel sure that God will not cause the earth to swallow them, or that suffering will not befall them without their perceiving whence [it came]? 45 Or that He would not seize them during their [usual] activity, and they could not cause failure? 46 or that He will not seize them when they are apprehensive of the impending calamity? Surely your Lord is Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. 47 Do they not see the shadows of all things God has created incline to the right and the left, bowing in obeisance to God? 48 And whatever creature that is in the heavens and that is in the earth makes obeisance to Allah (only), and the angels (too) and they do not show pride. 49 They all revere their Lord, high above them, and they do all that they are commanded. ۩ 50
