O ye who believe! Seek help in steadfastness and prayer. Lo! Allah is with the steadfast. 153 And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allah, "They are dead." Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not. 154 And We will surely prove you with aught of fear and hunger and diminution in riches and lives and fruits; and bear thou the glad tidings unto the patient; 155 Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return." 156 On those will be prayers and mercy from their Lord, those are guided. 157 ۞ Safah and Marwah are the waymarks of Allah. Whoever performs the pilgrimage to the House or the visit, there shall be no guilt on him to circumambulate between both of them. And whoever volunteers good, Allah is Thankful, the Knower. 158 Those who conceal the evidence of the truth and the guidance We have revealed, after We have made them clear to people in the Scripture, will be rejected by God and so do others. 159 Except those who repent and amend and make manifest (the truth), these it is to whom I turn (mercifully); and I am the Oft-returning (to mercy), the Merciful. 160 Indeed upon those who disbelieved, and died as disbelievers, is the curse of Allah and of the angels and of men combined. 161 Abiding eternally therein. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved. 162 Your God is One God; there is no god but He, the All-merciful, the All-compassionate. 163
