The people of Lot accused the messengers of lies. 160 Recall, when their brother Lot said to them: "Have you no fear? 161 I am a trustworthy messenger to you: 162 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me: 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 Go ye in, of all creatures, unto the males? 165 keeping yourselves aloof from all the [lawful] spouses whom your Sustainer has created for you? Nay, but you are people who transgress all bounds of what is right!" 166 They said, "If you do not desist, O Lot, you will surely be of those evicted." 167 He said: I am in truth of those who hate your conduct. 168 "O my Lord! deliver me and my family from such things as they do!" 169 We saved him and all of his family, 170 Except an old woman among those who remained behind. 171 then We destroyed the others, 172 And We rained down upon them a rain, and evil was the rain on those warned. 173 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 174 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 175
