The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
