Hizb 46

So also was Jonah among those sent (by Us). 139 He fled to the overloaded ship. 140 And then drew lots and was of those rejected; 141 The fish swallowed him up and he deserved (all this). 142 Had he not glorified God, 143 He would have stayed in its belly till the day the dead are raised. 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore while he was sick, 145 and caused a creeping plant to grow over him [out of the barren soil]. 146 And We had sent him to a hundred thousand: rather they exceeded. 147 and they believed, and We gave them enjoyment for awhile. 148 (Muhammad), ask them, "Do daughters belong to your Lord and sons to them? 149 Have We created the angels as females before their very eyes? 150 Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, 151 “Allah has begotten.” They are liars! 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is amiss with you and your judgment? 154 What, and will you not remember? 155 Or have ye an authority manifest? 156 “Then bring forth your Book, if you are truthful!” 157 They link Him with jinns by lineage, yet the jinns know they will be brought before Him. 158 Exaltations to Allah above what they describe, 159 except for God's sincere servants. 160 Therefore you and all what you worship. (The disbelievers and their deities.) 161 can cause anyone to fall prey to your temptation 162 except for he who shall roast in Hell. 163 None of us is there, but has a known station; 164 "And we are verily ranged in ranks (for service); 165 Verily, we (angels), we are they who glorify (Allah's Praises i.e. perform prayers). 166 And there were those who said, 167 'If only we had had a Reminder from the ancients, 168 "We should certainly have been Servants of Allah, sincere (and devoted)!" 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 We decreed that Our Messenger servants 171 That they would be helped, 172 and that Our army will be triumphant. 173 Therefore turn away from them till a time, 174 and see, and soon they too shall see. 175 Would they hasten on Our doom? 176 When it comes down on their plains, it will be an evil dawn for those who had been warned. 177 And turn away from them for some time. 178 And wait, for they will soon see. 179 LIMITLESS in His glory is thy Sustainer, the Lord of almightiness, [exalted] above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 180 And peace be unto the sent ones. 181 and praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being. 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
