Victory (Al-Fatt-h)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Indeed, We have opened for you (Prophet Muhammad) a clear opening, 1 So that Allah may forgive, for your sake, the sins of those before you and those after you, and complete His favours upon you, and to show you the Straight Path. 2 And that Allah may succour thee with a mighty succour. 3 It was He who sent down tranquility into the hearts of the believers so that they might add belief upon belief. To Allah belong the armies of the heavens and the earth. Allah is the Knower, the Wise. 4 That He may cause the believing men and the believing women to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide therein and remove from them their evil; and that is a grand achievement with Allah 5 And may punish the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women, and the idolatrous men and the idolatrous women, who think an evil thought concerning Allah. For them is the evil turn of fortune, and Allah is wroth against them and hath cursed them, and hath made ready for them hell, a hapless journey's end. 6 To God belong the hosts of the heavens and the earth; God is All-mighty, All-wise. 7 We have truly sent thee as a witness, as a bringer of Glad Tidings, and as a Warner: 8 so that (all of) you may all believe in Allah and His Messenger, and support him, and revere him, and celebrate Allah's glory, morning and evening. 9 Those who pledge obedience to you are, in fact, pledging obedience to God. The hands of God are above their hands. As for those who disregard their pledge, they do so only against their own souls. Those who fulfill their promise to God will receive a great reward. 10
