Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 who show off, 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
