The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
